8.5.Building file
The Building File should contain all information that can effectively understand the quality, conservation, maintenance and safety of a building and its appurtenances.
More precisely, information of an identifying, design, structural, plant engineering and environmental nature relating to the building, as well as changes made over time with respect to its original appearance and characteristics, should be reported.
The Building File is, therefore, an indispensable tool for the control of the state of conservation of the building heritage aimed at identifying the risk situations of the buildings and to plan over time maintenance, renovation and structural consolidation interventions to improve the quality of the same, making them more suitable also for problems of a calamitous nature.
