Construction’s data

In BiC all information relating to buildings is stored and ordered in a “Building Booklet” always online and available.

In this section, all the information on the construction, components, and characteristics of a building are available and organized by multiple parameters such as; year built; geometric data; condition; etc.

To manage this information, select the “Buildings” menu as shown in the figure below.

Then click on the “Construction Information” command as shown in the figure below.

Continue by clicking on the “Features” tab as shown in the figure above.

Input building information such as: the construction age/year;  architectural typology; the structural typology and the date of the last refit/reconditioning/renewal.

After entering the data, click on the “Save” command to save the information entered.

Geometrical information of a building

To manage the geometric information of a building, select the Geometrical Information tab.

From this tab it is possible to enter information relating to the geometric data of the building such as: ground surface; covered area; net heated surface; gross surface area; net volume; gross volume; overall height; firefighting system height; total number of floors and number of floors above ground of the building.

After entering the data, click on the “Save” command to save the information entered.

Information on the vertical connection/conveyances of a building

To manage information about vertical connections/ conveyances in a building, select the Information tab on vertical connections.

From this tab you can enter information about stairs and elevators of a building

Clicking on the “+” command will show a Pop Up, as shown below, from which you can enter the data of stairs and elevators.

After entering the data, click on the “Save” command to save the information entered.

Information on the conservation status of the building

To manage building conservancy status information, select the “Conservation status” tab.

Clicking on the “Add Detection” command displays a Pop Up, as shown below, from which you can enter the data of stairs and elevators.

 

The “New detection” Pop Up allows you to enter information about the types of building artefacts.

 

The values ​​entered refer to a subjective evaluation, expressed as a percentage, with values ​​ranging from 0 to 100 (do not use the percentage symbol) of the state of conservation of the types of artifact present in the Pop Up.

At the end of the entry, BiC produces an average assessment of the overall state of conservation of the building; this value is to be intended exclusively as a general comparison data.

After entering the data, click on the “Save” command to save the information entered.
