How to create the QR code to associate to the file of a new version of the document
Often the impossibility of quickly establishing whether the printed document being analysed is the latest updated version generates inefficiency, costs and delays in execution.
Building in Cloud provides a solution that definitively solves this long-standing problem.
The solution is based on the features of Building in Cloud for the management of document versions also available for the free version.
To recognize with extreme security if the printed document you are analyzing corresponds to the latest version of the document every time you create a new version of the document in BiC you must associate a QR code automatically generated by Building in Cloud proceed as follows:
To generate a QR code to be associated with the new version of the document proceed as follows:
Select the “Documents” menu see image below:
Select the “Document list” command as shown in the following image:
Select the document to which you want to associate the QR code as shown in the following image:
Then select the command “QR code New version” as shown in the following image.
Following the execution of the “QR code New version” command, a Popup appears containing the QR code to be associated with the document, as shown in the following image.
The QR code shown in the Popup in the figure above must be copied and then pasted into the new file that will be loaded in the new version of the document.
