The “BIM button” for the BIM data management

The “BIM button” is a very powerful visualization tool.  You can alternatively view graphical or text/alphanumeric detailed information with a single click.

The BIM button

The BIM button  enables you to toggle been 3-D/geometric and alphanumeric/text visualization of information.    Users can easily open the BIM viewer to see a BIM object, or see the fully detailed description/data sheet linked to the object, and switch back and forth with a single click.

The BIM button can be repositioned on the screen by dragging it, by selecting the “Grip” at the top right of the icon.

Depending on the main command you are using, the corresponding BIM button will appear, allowing you to alternately view the graphic model or the information related to the command in use.

In addition, the BIM button operates in two different modes depending where you are working.

  • If you are in a geographical position (See figure below… Remember you should always be aware of the your geographica. position. In this case the geographical position is Lemsys/North America/United States/Boston.) you can alternatively view the working area of the command in use or the geographical map, and toggle back and forth.
